I attended DEE often my first two years. The tutors were all extremely helpful as they gave advice on course selection, problem solving strategies, and how to navigate Dartmouth. I want to pay forward all the help I received so it only made sense to join the tutoring team.

WHY I AM INVOLVED IN DEE
It began as a chill study space and turned into a lifesaving after-class TA session. I was a humanities-turned-STEM major, and having DEE as a resource definitely made me more confident and prepared.

Intro classes can be some of the most intense and intimidating courses, and DEE is here to make that process a little smoother. We can all learn from each other and there are absolutely no dumb questions. This is also a great place for meeting upperclassmen, mentors, and friends. You can do it!

I got involved in DEE because I wanted to share my passion for STEM and problem-solving with other students. I believe that anyone can be successful in STEM with the right support, and I want other students to get as excited as I do to understand the math and science in the world around us.
