Climb a little closer to the cosmos with a trip up Baker Tower. Tours fill up within the first 15 minutes and people wishing to go up to the tower are encouraged to come at the beginning of the scheduled time.

Join Winter Carnival Council and the sisters of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc as we celebrate Black Legacy Month with the hit film highlighting three brilliant African-American women at NASA -- Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson -- who serve as the brains behind one of the greatest operations in history: the launch of astronaut John Glenn into orbit, a stunning achievement that restored the nation's confidence, turned around the Space Race and galvanized the world. Along with the screening we'll have snacks and some cosmic crafts you can take with you.

12:30pm Lunar New Year Dragon Parade
Join The Hopkins Center for the Arts on February 11 at 12:30pm in front of Collis to welcome the Lunar New Year with a traditional dragon dance featuring a giant 12-person puppet dragon! Participants will help the dragon dance through campus. This year marks the beginning of the year of the dragon which symbolizes strength, luck and health. We will parade the dragon on the Dartmouth Green, through the Collis Center and the Berry-Baker library. Please sign up here if you would like to participate and help us parade and operate the dragon.

Learn about all the ways you can get involved in the DOC! We will have representatives from a variety of sub-clubs talking about how you can participate in different outdoor activities on campus. This event kicks off the DOC's Beginner Week, so you can come to learn more about the sub-clubs, and then join one of the DOC's many beginner trips in the following week! Feel free to drop by for any amount of time.
