During the winter of 2020, the Campus Climate and Culture Initiative (C3I) will launch the Campus Climate Ambassador Program. The ambassadors, with support of their department and division leaders, will undergo a three-day training to support them in leading change in their respective departments to reduce the harm of gender bias. The ambassadors will work with a cohort of faculty and staff colleagues under the leadership and guidance of the Director of C3I over the course of one year.

Campus Climate Ambassadors will be able to:

• Articulate and understand how bias impacts people in the workplace.
• Distinguish the needs of their learners through understanding how people learn and the climate of their department.
• Facilitate a gender bias training and several conversations on the impact of bias with their department.
• Construct a change management plan that will support reducing gender bias in their department in collaboration with the Director of C3I.
• Present a summary of their work to the broader campus at the conclusion of one year.
