Experience winter in a new light!

On Friday, February 23rd and Saturday, February 24th, we invite the campus and community to experience the beauty of a New England winter with a new perspective. Join us in College Park on top of Observatory Hill between 6pm-midnight for an enchanting winter wonderland you won't forget, thanks to a remarkable interactive light and sound installation sponsored by the Programming Board, Collis After Dark, and the Office of Student Life.

NOTE: Please take care when enjoying Frost Lights! We've done our best to prepare the site, this is a wooded winter environment. Please watch where you are walking and wear shoes with good traction.

Visiting Frost Lights

Frost Lights will be free and open to the Dartmouth Community and our neighbors from 6pm-midnight each evening. Entry will be adjacent to Shattuck Observatory. Public parking will available in any nearby street/public parking. Please do not park in Dartmouth lots without appropriate passes from Parking & Transportation.

PHOTOSENSITIVE ATTENDEES: There are elements of Frost Lights that contain flashing/strobing effects - if you need these turned off in order to enjoy the event, please speak to a event volunteer at the entry tent and we are happy to assist.

We want to make this year's Frost Lights the most engaging to date by drawing on the talents of the community. The Programming Board and Collis After Dark are inviting contributions of words and images for inclusion in this year’s event - including the potential for CASH prizes. Click through for more information on how to submit.

Please note, submissions will be curated by the planning committee for inclusion. Submissions are welcome from Dartmouth students, faculty, and staff.
