A talk with the Institute of Arctic Studies
Dr. Kimberley R. Miner is an Earth Scientist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab, where her research on climate risks has taken her to some of the planet’s most extreme environments—from the icy expanse of the North Pole to the rugged heights of Mt. Everest and the desolate cold of Antarctica.
Kimberley's book, Considering Climate Change, aims to empower younger generations to plan for climate change. She will share perspectives on the current state of Earth science and how to plan for a future with a changing climate.
