WELCOME TO SPAULDING MIDDLE SCHOOL TITLE 1
What is Title 1?
Title One is the largest federally funded education program, designed to provide resources to eligible school districts. These funds are used to enhance educational opportunities for students facing disadvantages. To qualify as a Title One school, at least 40% of a school’s students must have been on free or reduced lunch by the 135th day of the previous school year. In Darlington County, all students receive free lunch.
Parent Involvement:
All in-person volunteers are required to complete a background check, forms are available on the Darlington County School District website. We welcome and value parent feedback and suggestions to help our school grow and better meet the needs of every student at Spaulding Middle School. We greatly appreciate parents taking the time to read all documents sent home and to complete any surveys, feedback forms, or other important documents. Your opinions are important to us, and your support is essential. Thank you for partnering with us!
