Course Description

This course is designed to help you learn to code with Swift Playgrounds no matter what your level of experience. There are 10 lessons, each one filled with fun activities and challenges that teach you key coding concepts while exploring how coding is a way of thinking that can be applied to your everyday life.

Each lesson includes:

        • Video introduction: Watch these videos that introduce fundamental coding concepts to

demonstrate that coding is a way of thinking that you can apply to other topics and

everyday situations.

        • Activity: Extend and apply the concept to a real-world context with a fun activity.

        • Practice with Swift Playgrounds: Apply the coding concept by using real Swift code in

the Swift Playgrounds app and watch a short video that walks you through puzzles.

        • Swift Playgrounds tips: Watch these short videos that include app and coding concept

tips.

        • Reflection: Review what you’ve learned and think about how it applies inside and

outside of a coding environment. You can record your reflections in any app like Notes,

or even create video logs using the iPad camera.
