This is my third year at Thornwell School for the Arts and I am so excited to be here! My first year at TSA, I was the Reading Interventionist. This will be my second year teaching 3rd grade here at TSA. I am from Wallace, SC in Marlboro County.

This is my 12th year in education. I have experience teaching 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 6th grade social studies, and 6th grade science in Blenheim, SC. I received my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Clemson University and my master's degree in Reading with an emphasis on Elementary Education from Grand Canyon University. Two years ago, I completed the Reading Recovery EL Class through Darlington County. This class taught me so much about reading intervention, which is my passion.

Teaching has been my goal since a very early age and I am passionate about being the best I can be and the teacher my students need. Helping our students be successful is the goal &  there's nothing we can't achieve!
