6th Grade Social Studies

Welcome to Mrs. Horton's 6th Grade Social Studies classroom!

This is my  twenty-first year teaching  and nineteenth year teaching at Hartsville Middle School. I have taught 7th grade ELA and 6th grade Social Studies. I am married to Douglas Horton and we reside in Bethune, South Carolina. We have a handsome fourteen-year old son named Vance and a beautiful eleven-year old daughter named Scarlet. I have my bachelors degree from Winthrop University in education and my masters degree in integrating technology from Kaplan University. I am Level I Google Certified, an Apple Teacher, and have completed the DCSD Digital Transformation Academy. I look forward to a great year!
