MAGNET SCIENCE STUDENTS:
Welcome to the Magnet Science classes at Darlington Middle School. The students in this program will be learning a variety of science topics over the next three years in preparation for future High School courses. The students of the 6th grade class will be learning the basic fundamentals of Life Science. Major topics will include Life Kingdoms, Microbiology, and Ecology. The students of the 7th and 8th grade classes will have the chance to select the topics they will be able to study. They will have the chance to complete this process in the spring. Major topics available will available in all of the major STEAM Disciplines. Physical Science Courses include Chemistry, Physics, and Geology. Applied Sciences Courses include Forensics, CAD, Graphic Design, Robotics, Creative Design, and Music Production. Biology Courses include Comparative Anatomy, Mammalian Anatomy, Marine Ecology, Genetics, and Anthropology. Students enrolled in this course will be responsible for the course materials and their grade level science curriculum, which will be covered on the PASS Exam at the end of the school year.

Students will receive a Weekly Homework sheet on Mondays listing the homework for the week. If this sheet is lost or students require another copy, they can pick up another copy in class. Until then, check the calendar for daily work.
