All About Your Teacher

Hello!  My name is Michelle Greco and I will be your child's 3rd grade teacher. Prior to leaving education to raise my 4 children I was a teacher for 5 years at Fairview School.  I started out at as a Chapter 1 reading aide and then moved into a 4th grade classroom.  I left when my first child, Maria (Jake) was born.  My husband Ray and I then welcomed 3 more children: Raymond (Kiley), Sandra and Brianne. 2 of my children are now married and I have 1 granddaughter. A new grand baby will be arriving in September.

I returned to the classroom as a substitute teacher for District #61 and then moved into a 3rd grade classroom.  This will be my 16th year at Lace School as a 3rd grade teacher.

I received my bachelor's degree from Illinois Benedictine College (Benedictine University) in Elementary Education.  I then received my master's degree in reading from Lewis University.  I continue to take classes to improve my skills as an educator.  

My family and I live in Woodridge, IL.
