Hello and welcome to Lace School! My name is Lauren Porter and I am your child's third grade teacher this year! I am so excited to get to know your learners and watch them grow and develop throughout our time together!
A little bit about me, this is my fourth year teaching at Lace, I graduated from Illinois State University with my Bachelors in Education as well as I have an endorsement in English as a Second Language! I am working towards my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Educational Technology.
When I am not in the classroom, I love to read, craft, and spend every minute I can outdoors!
My name is Natali Sandoval and I am very excited to be working alongside Miss Porter this year! I was previously a 4th grade teacher at Lace, but have now entered a new role as the 3rd grade bilingual teacher. This is my third year in this role. Although my main focus will be working with the students who are in the bilingual program, there will be opportunities for me to support all students in the class too! I look forward to working together this year to make third grade a positive learning experience.
I would like to introduce myself so that you have somewhat of an idea of who I am. This will be my eigth year of teaching! I graduated from Augustana College in Rock Island, IL with an elementary education degree, a middle school endorsement in math, and a minor in Spanish. I have my Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction with an ESL endorsement. I look forward to continuing my education in order to further support each of my students. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, exploring new places, reading, and listening to podcasts or music.
