JAZZ ENSEMBLE

The Jazz Ensemble  is a competitive group that will have several exciting performance opportunities throughout the school year.  The group is extra-curricular and audition-based. They rehearse on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, beginning in September. Any student in grades 6-8 are welcome to audition, regardless of the instrument they play.  The majority of our curriculum is based on the big band era of Duke Ellington and Count Basie.
