Our student's get an opportunity to learn dances and perform them to our community, participate in workshops and experience professional shows firsthand. Our dancers are not only performers but also cultural ambassadors that teach others through dance.

ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
Danzantes del Valle lives out of Alisal High School's Folklorico program, as many of our members are recruited from this program. Most students participating in this project are current high school students who have a deeper interest in Mexican Folklorico. Our performers go above and beyond a typical high school student. Most of our members are not only part of the company, but also part of the high school's Folklorico program and other extracurriculars.
Being part of Danzantes del Valle requires extra commitment as they attend rehearsals twice a week to assure they are ready for all events. The commitment and dedication of our performers shows how much they value Mexican culture and traditions and the importance of keeping culture alive.
Danzantes del Valle plans to expand to the elementary and middle school level in the future. We would like to serve all students from the Salinas Valley. With the help of our community this can be possible! If your school would like to host our program, please contact us.
