Week 1: Kindergarten-3rd Grade, July 10-14

Movement

Students will explore movement based activities.

Music

Students will get to explore a variety of musical activities and instruments.

Counselor Activity

Camp Counselors will have multiple fun activities planned throughout the week for campers.

Art

Students will explore multiple art projects and different materials.

SEL

Students will participate in social and emotional based team building activities.

Week 2: 4th Grade-7th Grade, July 17-21

Bucket Drumming +

Students will explore the many ways that buckets and other non-traditional equipment can be used to create a musical performance.

Digital Music

Students will learn about how to incorporate their musical knowledge into a digital workspace. They will use electronic devices to create beats and other electronic based projects.

2D Art

Students will create multiple two dimensional artwork using various materials. Can glue do more than just stick two things together? What do pets do when we're not home? Explore these questions and more! All student artwork will be on display for families to view and take home on Friday! 

3D Art

Students will create multiple freestanding sculptures using untraditional materials. Together, we will explore some of life's greatest wonders. Can you wash your hands with art? Should you play with your food? What does art sound like? All student artwork will be on display for families to view and take home on Friday!


Intro to Theatre

Students will learn theatre skills such as character development and voice projection and will work together to memorize a short play that they will perform at the end of the week. 

Guitar

Students will spend the week playing and learning about the guitar and its role in various genres of music. Both the acoustic and electric guitars will be studied/demonstrated. Print materials will be distributed. 

Broadcasting

Students will learn about broadcasting and recording equipment and software. They will write a script, record and edit a video to be presented in a showcase where they will also host the event. No experience required, join us for a fun summer camp to learn about broadcasting, storytelling, and video production.
