“One Book to Connect the World”
This fall, our libraries will be taking part in the Global Read Aloud, which is an annual six week event that fosters global connections through shared reading, from both picture books and chapter books. This year’s choices were selected through public voting and will encourage students to learn about other cultures, all while listening to a fantastic read aloud!

Once a month, students are offered a Makerspace lesson, during their media classes.
When engaging in Makerspace activities, students are prompted to explore ideas and problem-solve by engaging in the activities with the materials provided for them. They work through - brainstorming, steps and improvements made, and reflection on the collaboration process.
