Welcome to the Intelligent Mobile Systems Laboratory (IMSL) at the Department of Mobile Systems Engineering, Dankook University!
Our lab is dedicated to exploring cutting-edge research in mobile and embedded systems, focusing on creating intelligent, efficient, and human-centered computing solutions. We aim to address real-world challenges by designing advanced systems that seamlessly integrate mobile and AI technologies into everyday life.
At IMSL, we take a human-centric approach to design systems that enhance user experiences through intelligent and adaptive interaction. Our work investigates how intelligent systems can enhance user experiences through intuitive design and interaction. This includes creating systems that adapt to user behaviors, environments, and needs, ensuring accessibility and usability for diverse populations.
We are passionate about developing intelligent low-power mobile and embedded platforms, building scalable AI/ML algorithms, and designing innovative and smart healthcare solutions. By combining cutting-edge intelligence with thoughtful design, we aim to create systems that seamlessly integrate into and transform the way we interact with technology.
The Intelligent Mobile Systems Lab (IMSL) at Dankook University is now recruiting highly motivated graduate students to join our research group. We are particularly seeking Ph.D. candidates with strong passion and commitment to research, although M.S. applicants are also welcome to apply.
Our lab focuses on cutting-edge research in areas including (but not limited to)
Federated and distributed machine learning
Mobile and embedded AI systems
Sensing systems for healthcare and IoT
Efficient and scalable deep learning frameworks
We prioritize Ph.D. admissions, as we are looking for students who aim to develop long-term research careers and contribute to international publications, funded projects, and academic collaborations. However, excellent Master’s applicants with a strong interest in research will also be considered.
