Prof. Hee Jung Park earned Ph.D. through research on ion and electron transport phenomena in advanced ceramic materials. Building on this, he has continued his research in electrochemical applications such as hydrogen fuel cells, water electrolysis, and lithium secondary batteries. His work also extends to the development of hydrogen and oxygen membranes, solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs), solid oxide electrolysis cells (SOECs), as well as lithium solid-state batteries and secondary batteries. He collaborates with excellent research institutions both domestically and internationally, including University of Washington, Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL), Curtin University, MIT, KICET, KIER, GSIT, Hanyang University, KAIST, Sungkyunkwan University, Yonsei University, KENTECH and Seoul National University). He also manages various large- and small-scale government and industry-funded projects (SK, Samsung). In 2024, He established the Hydrogen Research Center at Dankook University and is dedicated to advancing hydrogen technology research.
