Job Title: Finance Assistant - Maternity Cover 1 Year FTC
Line Manager: Trust Finance Manager
Actual Salary: H5 SCP 9 - £20,703.88 inc. Fringe Allowance for 1 Year FTC
Work Pattern: 33 hours per week, Term Time plus INSET days and 2 weeks holiday working (41 weeks)
Working Hours: Monday and Tuesday 8.00am to 4.00pm with 30 mins unpaid lunch, Wednesday to Friday 8.00am to 2.00pm
Start Date: Mid-September 2024
Core Purpose
To provide outstanding finance and administration support to Onslow St Audrey's School.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To administer Onslow St Audrey's School finances and support the Trust’s Finance Manager in ensuring the efficient operation of the finance office
Raising purchase orders
Processing purchase ledger invoices and liaising with suppliers when queries arise
Sales Ledger administration
ParentPay administration and reconciliation
Reconcile school trips income and expenditure and provide information to the Trust for reconciliation
Process all income on the Access Finance system
Weekly bank reconciliation
Process and check all direct debit payments
Process and check all credit card transactions and reconcile each month
Process journals as and when required
16-19 Bursary administration
Assist with the collection and banking of cash
Monitor student lunch debts contacting parents/carers as necessary
Free School Meal checking on Solero
Answer telephone queries
Support staff with finance related queries and provide training on the Access Finance System for new staff
