We are seeking a Learning Support Coordinator to assist the SENCO with the educational and social needs of the students.
Main duties and responsibilities
Allocation of support and SEN paperwork
Communication with outside agencies
Meeting minutes
Oversee digitisation of strategies and information on Arbor. (Working with the SENCO ensuring pupil passports, strategies and other useful information for staff)
Communication with parents
Ensuring there is target setting, goal based outcomes (where appropriate) and support plans for staff for students underachieving. This is to help the class teacher who will lead on this.
Preparation and gathering of EHCP paperwork
Work with the SENCO to promote the vision and inclusive curriculum
Work with the SENCO to monitor SEN students
Support with meetings and communicate relevant actions
Attend meetings as directed by the SENCO
Undertake training and personal development when appropriate and as directed
Other duties as directed by SENCO

Compliance
The post holder is required to be aware of and comply with policies and procedures relating to child protection; health and safety; confidentiality; and data protection and report all concerns to an appropriate person.

Additional Information
All staff are required to participate in training and other learning activities and in performance management and development as required by the Trust’s policies and practices.

The post holder is managed by the SENCO.
