Initial Pointe Shoe Fittings:

• Please make an appointment for a fitting by filling in the Initial Pointe Shoe Fitting Screening Form below. We can accommodate walk-ins but only during quiet times.

• Please allow up to 45 minutes for an initial pointe shoe fitting. 

• We recommend that you wear convertible tights (or bring tights along) as we need to be able to see your bare feet before fitting your shoes while in tights.

• Please wear clothing that allows us to see your ankles and lower legs easily and that you can comfortably plié and relevé in. 

• Please trim your toenails short and square 2-3 days before you come in. Don't trim them the night before, as the surrounding skin won't have time to harden. 

• Please bring along any reports or recommendations from your pre-pointe physio assessment and ballet teacher.
