DXP ADAPTIVE DANCE PROGRAMS
The Dance Express “Everybody Dance Now” adaptive dance program is geared towards special needs dancers age 8 through adult. The purpose of “Everybody Dance Now” is to take a student dancer to the next level in their dance education by providing additional training, performance, and competition opportunities. Please complete this form with as much detail as possible. We will use this information to partner our instructors and coaches with your dancer and for our team to review as we prepare for your dancer. Let us know how we can make this a success for your child. We will do our best to include these elements in our coaching plans for your dancer. Class time and confirmation will be emailed out prior to the start of class. Unlike Darby's Dancers, there will be nominal charges for lessons, costumes and competition fees. We are committed to making these charges minimal and provide fundraising opportunities so that every child in the area can take part if desired.
The Dance Express Darby's Dancer program is designed to provide dance education to children with special needs at no cost to their families and offer a foundation for inclusion with other dancers within an established dance organization. This program runs from September through May.
We provide classes, shoes and costumes at no cost to the families. Each child is paired with a teen volunteer that acts as their coach. The class will have many opportunities to perform within the community, including our annual recital in May.
