We want YOU!
We are looking for volunteers for both our Dress Rehearsal and our Recital. Without our volunteer parents our shows wouldn't be possible.
Volunteers we are looking for:
Sign In/Out Parent: Arrive at 11:00 a.m. to sign students in. Stay for the remainder of the rehearsal to sign students out as they leave the theatre throughout the rehearsal day.
Backstage Parent Supervisor: These parents will be responsible for keeping an eye on our students when they are backstage or in the green room. Ensure that keep voices low and remain respectful while backstage.
Parent Supervisor: These parents will be responsible for watching our students while they are in the audience. They will also be helping students with anything else that may arise, such as bathroom trips or assistance with hair, costume or makeup. Ensure that students stay quiet and remain respectful throughout the rehearsal, demonstrating proper theatre etiquette. Ensure that no food or drink, except for water, is brought into the theatre.
Preschool Class Supervisor: These parents will be responsible for the preschool classes specifically, since they tend to need a little more attention and support. These parents will be helping with keeping students quiet and assist the dancers as needed with things like bathroom trips or adjustments to hair, costumes and makeup.
Volunteers for Classes: Volunteers are needed before, during and after the show. These parents are responsible for ensuring dancers stay together backstage, remain quiet and will help with bringing them to the washroom as needed.
Parent Check In/Out: Volunteers are needed before and after the show. This parent is responsible for checking students in as parents drop them off and checking students out as parents pick them up.
Ticket Taker: Volunteers are needed before the show to help our usher check tickets as the audience enters the theatre.
Backstage Runner: Volunteers are needed during the show to help line up our students before they go on stage. If you are new to this role, you will have an experienced parent with you to help you learn the ropes of this role.
Flower Sales: Volunteers are needed before and after the show as well as during intermission. These parents are responsible for selling flowers and programs in the lobby.
