Hello!
A little about your principal!
It was never surprising to those who knew me that I would become a teacher and a principal. I've always loved working with children and had great teacher role models, including my father.
Over the past 27 years, I have worked with students K-8 and have settled into King Street Intermediate for the past four years as I found a special love for the fourth and fifth graders as they begin to think abstractly, develop a sense of responsibility, and learning to understand how things connect. It is gratifying to be part of this learning and growth of students. It is a privilege that I take seriously as I partner with families to support these learners.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my family: my husband, Tom; our children, Trevor and Ryan; and my extended family in Connecticut, New York, and Florida. Our family cats, Lucky and Cuddles, are also an important part of our family. I like running, playing tennis, golf, taking pictures, making crafts, and watching the sunset.
Below is a collection of pictures and videos from my years at King Street Intermediate.
