Our teachers of DS English, along with the representative students, joined Chiang Rai Student Arts and Crafts Competition 2025 at Thoeng Wittayakhom School for Storytelling, Skit, Pictorial Writing, Impromptu Speech, and Crossword.

Our teachers, Saranya Wongplugsa and Thrissida Khruanoi, led our students to join MFU Language Talent Expo 2025 on 29 August 2025 at Mae Fah Loung University. There're 2 comtetitions that they took part in: English Academic Challenge by ASHLYN XIAO JIA WONG and WEERANATTHA  CHOOKAEW, English Storytelling by NIRACHA  LAENEE.

English Language Department held annual class observation and PLC events for teachers to learn and develop their teaching and classroom management.

Teacher Patcharin Kunna served as a trainer on EAR (Exploratory Action Research) for second foreign languages teachers of SESAO Chiang Rai at Samakkhiwittayakom School under the title of "Exploring classroom to master second foreign languages teaching" on 25 August 2025, inspiring them to explore issues in their class and how to improve their teaching. 

Our Crossword team, led by teacher Sonthaya Pimngern, with WITCHAPHAS SOMPAN and NATTHAPHONG CHAIBANGNGOEN, joined a big event at Nakhonsawan on "Central Nakhonsawan Board Games 2025" on 16 August 2025.

English Language Department held the selection test on the search of school's representatives of 2025 Pech Lanna Project English (โครงการเพชรล้านนา ภาษาอังกฤษ ปีการศึกษา 2568) during 13-14 August 2025. There're more than 70 students enrolled for the test but only 10 would be the representatives.

Our teachers, Patcharin Kunna, Nantanee Nurach, and Chanika Thangjintawiwat served as guest speakers at Phayaopittayakhom School for the "Active Learning for Foreign Languages Teachers" event on 15 June 2025, inspiring English teachers both Thai and foreigner teachers to enhance their language teaching skills. 

Our teachers, Patcharin Kunna, Nantanee Nurach, and Chanika Thangjintawiwat served as guest speakers at Phayao Provincial Educational Office for the "Active Learning for English Teachers of Quality Schools of Phayao" event on 14 June 2025, inspiring English teachers both Thai and foreigner teachers to enhance their language skills. Through interactive sessions and practical tips, they encouraged confidence in English teaching, making learning both engaging and effective. 

Our teachers attended school seminar and workshop on SAR, Best practice and Planning during 11-13 March 2025. 

Our best practice this year mentioned how we adapted PLC process to develop teachers' teaching to enhance students' ability in using English.

Team M.3 of English Language Department helped prepare our M.3 students for their O-NET test.

Our English teachers joined English communication training by EIS and AUA.

Teacher Patcharin Kunna was invited by English Language Institute, HCEMC to demonstrate active teaching for primary English teachers from Anuban Buriram School at Phyathai School, Bangkok. The lesson was around the topic of students' favorite food and SDGs.

Our teachers, Patcharin Kunna and Nantanee Nurach actively participated in the FGD activity at Chiang Rai PAO School, engaging in meaningful discussions to enhance teaching strategies and student learning experiences. It was a valuable opportunity for collaboration and professional growth. 

Our teachers proudly participated in Teachers' Day 2025, hosted by Chiang Rai SESAO, honoring the dedication and hard work of educators in Chiang Rai. It was a meaningful celebration of teaching, inspiration, and lifelong learning. 

Our teachers had meeting for planning and setting PLC for this year. They're working on problems in their classes and how they could help.

Our teachers, Prakongsri Leesaen, Patcharin Kunna, Chanika Thangjintawiwat, Grant, Jason, and Katherine joined STEM Robotic Camp 2024 hosted by Mathematics Department, Science and Technology Department, and STEM Education. 

Teacher Patcharin Kunna was sponsored by OBEC, British Council, IATEFL,  and KMUTT to participate in professional development events as followed:

1. Joined panel presentation on "All Ears for Change: Transformative Practices in Exploratory Action Research" at the ASEAN TeachingEnglish Online Conference by British Council Thailand, KMUTT, MenTRNET on 18 October 2024.

2. Joined panel discussion on the International Festival of Mentoring Teacher-Research in ELT (2024–25) on16 November, 1.00–2.30pm (UTC): 'Teacher-researchers becoming mentors' –  with Regina Corona (Mexico), Maria Marta Mora (Argentina), Sidney Martin (Spain) and Silvia Severino (Argentina), chaired by Richard Smith from IATEFL.

3. British Council’s New Directions East Asia 2024 Workshop on ‘Boosting students’ reading motivation through implementing and assessing extensive reading’ by Assistant Professor Dr. Mintra Puripunyavanich and ‘Designing classroom-based language assessments for local context’ by Assistant Professor Dr. Chatraporn Piamsai from Chulalongkorn University Language Institute (CULI) 

4. Participated in TPD@Scale training by SEAMEO INNOTECH

5. Joined the 44th Thailand TESOL 2025 during 24-25 January 2025 under the theme of "Exploring the new frontiers for a better tomorrow: Innovative curriculum pedagogy, and assessment"

6. Representative presenter of IDL project for the 13th ASEAN Education Minister Meeting at Buriram

Our teachers, Patcharin Kunna, Nantanee Nurach, and Chanika Thangjintawiwat served as guest speakers at University of Phayao Demonstration School for the "Bridge the Gap: Empowering English Communication" event on 18 January 2025, inspiring lecturers and staff to enhance their language skills. Through interactive sessions and practical tips, they encouraged confidence in English communication, making learning both engaging and effective. 

24 July, 2023 - DS MEP and English Department welcomes Miss Lucia Hayward Tripero, a Spanish AFS student to the school as an exchange student. She will be with us for a year.

20-21 ก.ค. 66 - ครูศรัญญา วงษ์พฤกษา และ ครูพัชรินทร์ กุลณา เข้าร่วมเป็นวิทยากรตามโครงการการบริหารจัดการนิเทศส่งเสริมการยกระดับคุณภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้ 8 กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นการพัฒนาสมรรถนะผู้เรียน ปีงบประมาณ 2566 : กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ (ภาษาอังกฤษ) ณ สพม.เชียงราย โดยมีครูเข้าร่วมการอบรมดังกล่าว จำนวน 35 คน

14 ก.ค. 66 - ครูศรัญญา วงษ์พฤกษา และ ครูพัชรินทร์ กุลณา เข้าร่วมการประชุมเตรียมความพร้อมวิทยากรแกนนำและคณะทำงานโครงการการบริหารจัดการนิเทศส่งเสริมการยกระดับคุณภาพการจัดการเรียนรู้ 8 กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ที่เน้นการพัฒนาสมรรถนะผู้เรียน ปีงบประมาณ 2566 : กลุ่มสาระการเรียนรู้ภาษาต่างประเทศ (ภาษาอังกฤษ) ณ สพม.เชียงราย 

Damrongratsongkroh School welcomes new English teachers to the team; teacher Decerel Roa Pilarca and teacher Melody from the Philippines. They're teaching English for communication and science (MEP) respectively.

เมื่อวันที่ 7 มิถุนายน 2566 โรงเรียนดำรงราษฎรสงเคราะห์และโครงการห้องเรียนพิเศษภาษาอังกฤษ (Mini English Program) ร่วมต้อนรับผู้นำนักเรียน จำนวน 2 คน และนักเรียนชาวอเมริกัน จำนวน 13 คน จาก Putney Student Travel สหรัฐอเมริกา ในกิจกรรมแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้ด้านภาษาและวัฒนธรรม ตลอดจนวิถีชีวิตวัยรุ่นไทย และโรงเรียนของไทย ซึ่งมีนักเรียนโรงเรียนดำรงราษฎร์สงเคราะห์เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมในฐานะผู้ดูแล (Buddy) เพื่อให้การเข้าร่วมกิจกรรมเป็นไปอย่างราบรื่นและได้รับประโยชน์อย่างเต็มที่  

เมื่อวันที่ 19-21 พฤษภาคม 2566  งานห้องเรียน IDL (Interactive Distance Learning) โรงเรียนดำรงราษฎรสงเคราะห์ โรงเรียนต้นทาง ได้จัดกิจกรรมค่ายปฐมนิเทศและการเตรียมความพร้อมนักเรียนสู่ห้องเรียน IDL ร่วมกับโรงเรียนปลายทาง ได้แก่ โรงเรียนบ้านแซววิทยาคม  โรงเรียนราชประชานุเคราะห์ 15 และโรงเรียนอมก๋อยวิทยาคม 

สำหรับวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ ครูยามาพร สายสุดใจ และครูชนิกา ตั้งจินตวิวัฒน์ ครูผู้สอนภาษาอังกฤษ โรงเรียนดำรงราษฎร์สงเคราะห์ ร่วมกับครูผู้สอนภาษาอังกฤษจากโรงเรียนปลายทาง ได้จัดกิจกรรม Storytelling โดยการให้นักเรียนฟังนิทาน และจับกลุ่มทำกิจกรรมวาดภาพ สรุปใจความจากนิทานที่ได้รับฟัง จากนั้นนำเสนอผลงานของแต่ละกลุ่มเป็นภาษาอังกฤษ  

เมื่อวันที่ 13 พฤษภาคม 2566 ร้อยโทณัฐรัชต์ ใหญ่ผา ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียนดำรงราษฏร์สงเคราะห์ พร้อมด้วย ครูอังคณา ถนอมมิตร และสมาชิกชมรม To Be Number One โรงเรียนดำรงราษฎร์สงเคราะห์ เข้าร่วมให้กำลังใจนักเรียนที่เข้าร่วมการประกวดเยาวชนต้นแบบเก่งและดี TO BE NUMBER ONE IDOL รุ่นที่ 13 รอบชิงชนะเลิศ ซึ่งจัดขึ้นโดยกรมสุขภาพจิต กระทรวงสาธารณสุข ณ ศูนย์การค้าเจเจมอลล์ กรุงเทพมหานคร โดยมีองค์ประธานคือ ทูลกระหม่อมหญิงอุบลรัตนราชกัญญาสิริวัฒนาพรรณวดี

ในครั้งนี้ ตัวแทนเยาวชนจังหวัดเชียงราย นายธนเดช​ เอื้อรัตน์ศรีทอง นักเรียนดำรงราษฎร์สงเคราะห์ ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศลำดับที่ 5 (ฝ่ายชาย) ระดับประเทศ และได้รับรางวัล MTL HAPPY BOY AND GIRL ได้รับเงินรางวัล 20,000 บาท

Ms. Siriwan Kapiya, Mrs. Sonthaya Pimngern and DS EIS team held a workshop on English for integrated studies in Mathematics, Science, Computer and English for teachers at Wiangkaen Wittayakom School, Wiangkaen district, Chiangrai during 10-11 May, 2023.

Ms. Patcharin Kunna participated and presented her EAR work in IATEFL Research SIG’s Teachers Research! Online 2023 event which was taking place on Friday 17 and Saturday 18 March 2023.

25 October, 2022 - DS Thai team, Ms. Patcharin, Ms. Chanika, Ms. Nichaporn and Ms. Kotchakorn, has successfully wrapped up the online collaborative project with Gonjiam High School, Korea, Mrs. Nahyoung Kim, on the topic of Slice of Life. The Showcase today, hosted by APCIEU, UNESCO and Ms. Hyekyung Park, consisted of showing students' work on presenting their local food clip and related SDGs to the topic which is Goal 2 and 12. Their works were superb!

We couldn't be proud of them enough!
