Mike Dvorak is a resident of Minneapolis and spends much of his time photographing long term Social Documentary projects. When his reels are full of humans he then shifts his eye to the open water and ecology that surrounds it. His work is exhibited internationally and is included in Museum collections. He works with Black and White film, and maintains a darkroom in downtown Minneapolis.

Ryan Pennesi is a wildlife photographer and natural resource professional who lives and works in Northeastern Minnesota. Ryan believes photography can give us a profound window into the lives of untamed creatures; for him it has fostered a greater appreciation and respect for the wild. Photography has taught him to interact more intimately with the environment, focus on detail, and to read the stories written in the earth. Ryan is most interested in using images and the accompanying tales as conservation tools. He strives to spark curiosity in others and help connect folks to the natural world.
Blind Spot Creatives is the artistic outlet of Duluth-based photographer Alyssa Johnson. Untethered by age or education, Alyssa still believes beauty lies all around us. Reflective in nature, her work is grounded in the quiet subtleties of the day-to-day; small, simple reminders to slow down and appreciate the magic found in the ordinary. You can find Alyssa’s work scattered throughout the Twin Ports in local coffee shops, studios and markets. A 2019 ARAC Artist Access Grant Recipient, Alyssa is still emerging and is excited to continue to open up and stay curious.
Kyle James is a tattoo artist with a focus on American Traditional. He worked his way into the industry in 2015 with an apprenticeship at Benchmark Tattoo under owner Kyle Grover and artist Josh Crotty. Since then he has focused his skills on including neo-traditional, black and grey traditional and even the occasional black and grey realism. There are many other styles he also enjoys that have created the well-rounded artist he is today.
