About the teachers

Hello there,

I'm Yasmine Madrane, your Kindergarten teacher here at CDS. Originally from Belgium, I'm fluent in Dutch, French, and English. I earned my teaching degree from Ghent University of Applied Sciences and found my passion in helping young minds flourish.

Teaching isn't just a job for me; it's a genuine calling and my heart's true joy. Witnessing the spark of understanding in my students' eyes is the most rewarding experience. I believe in creating a nurturing and engaging environment where each child feels valued and empowered to explore the wonders of learning.

When I'm not in the classroom, I love exploring new places, learning languages, and spending time with my loved ones. I'm thrilled to be part of the CDS family and can't wait for all the wonderful learning moments ahead!

Warmly, Yasmine Madrane

Hello everyone! My name is Allison Kleistberg, and I look forward to starting the new school year as the new kindergarten teacher at CDS! I am an elementary school teacher from Montreal, Canada. I studied history and education during my undergrad at McGill University and received my MS in Education from Walden University. I’ve taught various grades ranging from kindergarten to grade 5.

Each student is a unique individual who has unique interests, learning styles, and needs. I strive to maintain a classroom that is student-centred and inclusive. I encourage my students to embrace their differences while empowering them to reach their potential. A classroom where students feel safe, welcomed, and valued, fosters a community and a passion for learning.

Outside of school, I enjoy going to art exhibitions and museums. I also have quite a sweet tooth, so you might also find me exploring the infinite cafés Korea offers. I’m super excited to join the CDS community and start a new teaching chapter!
