Making a Better World

We have entered a new frontier for education. Technology has brought facts and information to the palm of our hand with the touch of a button. Teachers no longer need to be the bearers of information, but rather the coaches of learning. In this class, we have developed the skills students need to acquire knowledge and learn to solve authentic problems in our environment (local and global). Within the course of the year students have been guided through the cycle of inquiry using their own interests to drive their personal skill development. Though this final project is the culmination of their learning in 7th grade, it is only just the beginning of their journey to make a better world.
