About SDL

SDL Program Mission Statement

The Self-Determined Learning Program seeks to provide students with the opportunities and resources to develop their unique strengths and interests, develop independent learning skills and habits of mind, and engage in the real world using their creativity and compassion.

Self-Determined Learning (SDL) is an extended learning process that is built upon student choice and uses inquiry to stimulate the growth and mastery of skills rather than just content.

This year, 8^th grade have been working on their Junior Projects. These are independent capstone projects demonstrating their readiness to proceed to high school.
