Over 16 weeks of the semester, you will be responsible to present a current event article to the class regarding the region that you are randomly assigned. You should pick a article that will at least inspire conversation or maybe even create a debate. Wow factor may be a great asset with this assignment.
1.) Article will be submitted to me so I can put it on the screen during the discussion
2.) You will briefly (1-2 minutes) give us a review or overview of the article and why you chose it.
3.) There will then be a brief discussion (3-5 minutes) following the presentation of the article that will be led by the presenter.
4.) There will be multiple articles presented on the "Current Event Day". When you are not presenting you are responsible to listen to the presenter, formulate an opinion/response, and participate in the discussion. I will keep a running tally throughout the course and you will receive a grade for participation.
