• Instructions on how to enter an absence can be viewed here This must be entered for late arrivals, early dismissals, and full day absences.

• Make sure to check your grades at least once a week on Skyward.

• Student pictures taken throughout the year can be found here! This will be updated through the last day of school.

• Recommended Supplies: pencils, highlighters, one- 3 subject spiral bound notebook, one- 3 ring binder, two composition books, three or more pocket folders, colored pencils & markers, glue sticks

• Donations of glue sticks and tissues would be greatly appreciated!

• In order for each student to attend JA BizTown, a permission slip must be completed and signed by a parent or guardian by April 17th. Please use the following form to submit your child’s permission slip:  Success BizTown Permission Slip

• March 13th – Unfashionable Friday – It may be Friday the 13th, but there’s nothing unlucky about showing your school spirit! Join us for a fun mismatched dress day where the crazier the combination, the better.  

• March 17th – Lucky to be Reading Day – We are excited to welcome author David Biedrzycki to DAIS. In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day and the joy of literacy, we will be wearing green.

• March 20th – CARES Ambassador Day – Our high school CARES Ambassadors will be visiting DAIS to focus on the “E” in CARES, Ethical. Show your spirit by wearing your CARES shirt, blue, or college apparel! 

• March 24th – World Down Syndrome Day – Wear your boldest mismatched socks!

• March 27th – Pajama Party Day – Let’s support our DAIS students in "Pajama Party the Musical" by wearing our favorite pajamas. 

• March 31st – Spring Sports Day – Opening day for baseball means it’s time for all outside sports to begin. Wear your favorite spring sports apparel. Hats are welcome! 

• March 31st- early dismissal

• April 1st-6th- no school
