Welcome to Team Respect!

I was born and raised in a suburb north of Pittsburgh. Following college graduation from Clarion University, I moved to York to teach and have been in this area happily teaching for 23 years. It is truly amazing how fast time passes! I am also a graduate of Penn State University and have enjoyed growing professionally while helping develop children as individuals and learners. As a resident of Dallastown, my sons and stepsons attend the Dallastown schools also. They keep us very busy with lots of activities. Our family also has two golden retrievers who add extra excitement and energy to our already bustling home. When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching hockey, walking the dogs, working out, reading, and taking weekend trips to the Eastern Shore. I LOVE watching the Pittsburgh Penguins play! Most weekends during the school year, you can find me at the York Ice Arena or another rink in the DVHL watching our boys play hockey! I truly enjoy teaching and look forward to another great year at DAIS and working with the fabulous teachers and paraprofessionals on Team Respect.
