DAHS Career Programming

Our annual Manufacturing Fair highlights local York County manufactures. Students are able to see the amazing products being made in their own background and learn about the vast career opportunities the manufacturing industry provides 

During our February fair, we focus on local businesses and training programs that highlight skilled trades and technical industries. Local four- year universities are also welcome to attend. 

With nearly 100 exhibitors, all students attend a career expo highlighting businesses in York County. Students will learn about job shadowing, internship, and employment opportunities. 11th grade students will rotate through career sessions including a human resources panel, entrepreneurship panel, transferable skills experience, and an ethical decision-making activity. 

All 10th grade students will sit with a professional to conduct a one-on-one interview role play.
