  • Supermatch-  Check out the Super Match feature on Naviance!  This neat tool allows you to tell it what criteria you want your ideal school to have and then it will provide you with schools that match or closely match your criteria.  

    • To use this feature, sign into Naviance > Select Colleges in the upper right corner > select Colleges Home > the link to Super Match will be on the left under Find Your Fit.

When looking to identify schools, consider the following as you determine if the school will be a "good fit".

• Location

• Size

• Cost

• Housing

• Activities

  • Reach, Range, Reserve

  • Reach Schools = may not meet admission criteria but still want to apply

  • Range Schools = feel confident that you will be accepted, meet admission criteria, application pool can be a factor to consider as well

  • Reserve Schools =  safety schools

• Spring/Summer is a great time to visit schools of interest

• Take virtual tours, if needed

⭐ You will begin applying to schools in the late summer/ early fall of your senior year.  If you know schools of interest, you can begin researching what you will need  for each school. Most college websites have a checklist for Freshman Applicants. This list will tell you everything you need to submit in order to have a complete application. It is HIGHLY important that you are aware of all the materials you need to submit for each college. Please do your research! Each college is different. ⭐
