Message From Your Counselors
Welcome to November, Longhorns! 🤠🍂
November is a time to reflect on our progress, practice gratitude, and keep working toward our goals. Your counseling team is thankful for our students, families, and staff who make W. T. White a supportive school community!
Students: Keep your momentum going during the second nine weeks! Check your grades, complete missing assignments, and talk with your teachers when you need help. Make attendance a priority as you work toward earning credit in every class.
Planning Ahead: Counselors will meet individually with students in every grade to complete course planners for next school year and review their four-year plans. All 2026–2027 four-year plans will be completed by Christmas Break. We look forward to meeting with each of you to discuss your goals and help you take the next steps in your high school journey!
Families: Take a few minutes to review grades and attendance with your student. Celebrate their progress and help them identify one goal to work toward before the semester ends. Please reach out to your student’s teachers or counselor whenever you need support.
As Thanksgiving approaches, remember to show appreciation for those who support you—and recognize how far you’ve come. Let’s make November a month of gratitude, growth, and Longhorn pride!
