Ms. Trest Algbera I and Algebra II
Class overview
Algebra I a full year course which includes the STAAR test at the end of the school year. The topics we will cover include understanding our number system, solving, graphing, and writing linear equations and inequalities, linear systems, exponents, quadratic functions, polynomials, and factoring.
Algebra II is a full year course developing the ideas from Algebra I. The topics we will cover include solving equations, inequalities, matrices, graphing, functions, powers, roots, logarithms, complex numbers, polynomials, quadratic relations, sequences, series, probability and statistics.
About me
Hello! My name is Anastasia Trest-Lewis and I am so excited to be teaching Algbera II in the 23-24 school year. I graduated from the University of Texas at Dallas with a BA in Mathematics. I love teaching and look foward to empowering my students to grow as learners.
