Everyone can learn engineering skills using VEX Robotics. VEX offers accessible, scalable, and reasonably priced solutions that cover all levels of official and informal education. In addition to promoting science and engineering ideas, VEX fosters in groups creativity, leadership, teamwork, and problem solving. It enables educators to interact with and motivate the next generation of STEM problem solvers!
A VEX Engineering Notebook is a record of a team's engineering design process through a competition season. It describes the work that the team has done, provides a chronological account of the team's design process, and allows students to practice writing skills and express ideas through drawing. The notebook should be organized into different sections such as Design, Build, Programming, and Competition, with descriptions of the team's work in each area. It is a legal document that proves the team designed their robot and is an industry standard in robotics competitions. Additional resources and content for creating an Engineering Notebook are available through VEX and the REC Foundation.
