A VEX Engineering Notebook is a record of a team's engineering design process through a competition season. It describes the work that the team has done, provides a chronological account of the team's design process, and allows students to practice writing skills and express ideas through drawing. The notebook should be organized into different sections such as Design, Build, Programming, and Competition, with descriptions of the team's work in each area. It is a legal document that proves the team designed their robot and is an industry standard in robotics competitions.
