ACADEMIC SUPPORT

The Samuell counselors and staff are here to support all students’ academic success.

Here's how:

• Samuell Teachers - When you have any questions about class assignments, topics, tests or grading, our teachers are your best contact. Communicate with your teacher in person or by sending them an email.

• Course Selection

• Adavance Placement selection - AP is open enrollment in Dallas ISD, however your school counselor can help you evaluate your readiness for AP courses.

• Graduation plans - review student transcript and testing to ensure they are on track for graduation.

• Wellness Counseling - If something else that is going on is making school work difficult, please speak to your counselor. Your school counselors and campus social worker are available to support any social/emotional/personal concerns.
