About me
My name is Felicia Johnson, and I am a third-grade teacher at Eladio Martinez. I am a proud product of Tulsa Public Schools. I was fortunate enough to have a third-grade teacher who made a profound impact on me and influenced my desire to become a teacher. Ms. Irma Branch was kind, caring, supportive and more important empathetic. I knew at an early age that I too wanted to make an impact in the lives of children. Not only did I want to teach, but I wanted to teach third grade.
I received my undergraduate degree from Langston University and began teaching shortly after. I later went on to earn a Master of Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma. Five years later, I transitioned to the Dallas Independent School District. I have been a part of the Eladio Martinez family since my arrival in 2002.
For the past 18 years, I have been honored to serve the community of West Dallas. It has afforded me the opportunity to work with students resembling my own background. My goal is and will always be to motivate, encourage and help every child realize their potential. My hope is to leave an imprint as permanent as the one left on me.
