Purpose:

-It promotes reading the latest, most current quality literature for our 3-5 students.

-Students are asked to read or hear at least 5 of the 20 books to be able to vote.

-It gives students voice. Eligible students vote on their favorite nominated book to win in January.

Our school participates annually in the Texas Bluebonnet Program which is a part of the Readers Are Leaders district initiative.
