Our Mission
Libraries are constantly evolving to fit the needs of an simultaneously evolving community. Because of this, our library is committed to GROWTH. About Mrs. Dillard
Welcome to the library! My name is Laurie Dillard, and I am the Librarian/ Media Specialist at Peabody Elementary. I graduated with my Bachelor's degree in Disciplinary Studies in 2007 from the University of Dallas and with my Master's degree in Library Media Services in 2015 from Texas A&M University-Commerce. I've taught kinder- second grade as a classroom teacher for six years, 4th-5th grade technology as a specials teacher for one year, and as a librarian for eight years- all at Peabody! I've lived in and around North Texas for 25 years, but I've lived in Texas my whole life. My husband and I have three children, two cats, and two dogs. I love to read, write, and draw!
