I am proud Sudie TAG Teacher! I am passionate about science, math, engineering, and helping students achieve their dreams and dream big! It is my privilege to return for my 2nd year of Sudie Physics and 7th PreAP Science for fun and learning with all these super Sudie Lions!
My Why: Teaching middle schoolers brings me joy every day!
I grew up in my mother’s classroom; I am 4th generation public school teacher, it is in my DNA. It is important to me that my time away from my family is meaningful and makes the world a better place. Every day at Sudie TAG, I am surrounded by students who are growing as problem solvers and making the future brighter!

My husband and daughter (pictured above) are two of my favorite people. We enjoy the outdoors together.

I love to exercise and move, including: running, skiing, kayaking, yoga, swimming, and hiking.

Earthquakes have always intrigued me. My college research was focused on building response to earthquake ground motion. In 2009, I received an NSF travel grant to participate in a large shake table test at E-DEFENSE (in Japan)!
