Watch Bridges
This week you will be designing, building and testing a bridge made out of paper and other materials you may have at home. Today you will be deciding what your bridge will cross. On a piece of paper, write out what your bridge will cross in a full sentence. Draw a picture.

Create a heart map. You can use paper, please do your best work! Write and draw things inside the heart shape that are very important to you such as certain people, pets, books, places, and activities. Here are some questions to help you think of ideas to include on your heart map.
What memories are stored in your heart?
What's at the center of your heart?
What's the most important to you?
What objects or things are important to you?

Review the book Bridges
Remember, this week you will be designing, building and testing a bridge made out of paper and other materials you may have at home. One thing scientists do is brainstorm ideas. Think about how long your bridge needs to be. What materials could you use to make your bridge? Brainstorm a list of materials you will use to make your bridge. Write it out on a sheet of paper.

Writers write about things they do, things they like, and things they know. Sometimes you might want to write about your favorite places. Draw a picture of all of the different places you like to go to. Write at least 2 complete sentences about it.
