Reading/Writing:

  • Read independently for 20 minutes.

  • Create an About Me board. You can use paper, add pictures, or draw them.

Math

  • Rainbow write your numbers 1-120! Use a different color for every new number.

  • Write on a piece of paper the month, date, year, day of the week.

  • Use base ten blocks to represent the number of days we have been in school. Write this sentence: We have been in school _________ days.

  • Create a heart map. You can use paper, please do your best work! Write and draw things inside the heart shape that are very important to you such as certain people, pets, books, places, and activities. Here are some questions to help you think of ideas to include on your heart map.

        • What memories are stored in your heart?

        • What's at the center of your heart?

        • What's the most important to you?

        • What objects or things are important to you?

  • Make a list of 10 rhyming words.

  • Review the book Bridges

  • Remember, this week you will be designing, building and testing a bridge made out of paper and other materials you may have at home. One thing scientists do is brainstorm ideas. Think about how long your bridge needs to be. What materials could you use to make your bridge? Brainstorm a list of materials you will use to make your bridge. Write it out on a sheet of paper.

  • Today you are going to build and test your bridge. Take a picture and submit your work!
