Library Policies & Procedures

Library Hours:

7:45 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Students come with their class for lessons relating to information, literacy skills, & current TEKS.

Checkout Information

The checkout period for all grades is two weeks.

Pre-Kindergarten - 1 board book

Kindergarten – 1 book

1^st thru 4^th grade – 2 books

5^th grade – 3 books

* Students may check out extra books as needed for special projects or research.

Library Schedule

The library operates on a fixed schedule.

Students may also visit any time during the school day with a pass from their teacher.

Fines

Students are responsible for library books.

If a book is overdue, you may not check one out until it is returned.

Any lost or damaged books must be paid for to clear your library record.

Library Computers

Library computers are available to use for school assignments, district online resources, and the library book catalog.

Always log-out, but do not power down the computer.

Library Etiquette

Be respectful.

Help others.

Ask questions.

Work hard and have fun.

Return books on time.

Treat books kindly.
