Hi! My name is Ms. Lewis and I am so glad you are in my class! I am looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, laughter, (most of all FUN) this school year.

I was born in Florida and moved to Texas when I was in the 3rd grade. I attended East Texas State University (now Texas A&M-Commerce) and graduated in 1995 with a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I also received my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Prairie View A&M University (2005).

This will be my twenty- eighth year in Education. Through my years I have taught 2nd -8th grade.

I have a son, Keyven, who is 18 years old and a college Freshman at Langston University. I have a Shih-Tzu named, Ronnie and an aquarium full of fish. In my free time I enjoy watching my son play basketball, hang out with my nieces and nephews, watch and attend sporting events, watch movies, travel and be with family and friends.
