In our classroom we are all leaders!

We do our classroom rules and 7 Habits daily , you can earn positive points or lose negative points depending on the actions you make.

Kiddos earn positive points by making good choices and using the 7 Habits to promote being leaders in the classroom.

These points will be reflected on Class Dojo (more information on Class Dojo Tab) and at the end of the week on Friday. Kiddos who earned enough positive points will participate in Fun Friday.

Fun Friday is held the last 30 minutes of the day on Friday, kiddos will either do fun centers (finger painting, chalk art, freeze dance) or a food treat (cookies, ice cream, etc.). It's a surprise every Friday. Kiddos who do not earn will work on fun but academic centers (number sense, phonics sort, etc.). Every week kiddos start fresh, meaning every kiddo gets a chance to EARN this fun activity and try again next week.

Points will NOT be taken away if kiddos attempt to self-regulate by asking to go to Peace Corner. Peace Corner is a safe space in the room where kiddos can calm down using stress balls, breathing exercises and other evidence-based techniques. This shows kiddos are self correcting and making better choices in the moment.
