I'm Ms. Keys and I will be your child's teacher this year.

A few things about me.... I have been an elementary teacher for 20 years. I am originally from Wisconsin and taught there for 13 years. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Alverno College in 2000 and my Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis Universtiy in 2010. I also lived and taught in Florida for a few years where most of my family lives, I consider it my 2nd home. I moved to Texas in 2015 because of better teaching opportunites and have been teaching with Dallas ISD for 5 years. I have been teaching at Joe May ever since the school opened in 2016.

Kindergarten has been my favorite grade to teach. I love seeing how much they achieve from the beginning to the end of the school year. I look forward to working with your kids this year!
