I come to Jill Stone at Vickery Meadow with vast array of experiences. I have experience as an administrator at the elementary, middle and high school level in Dallas ISD. My track record illustrates my ability to improve student achievement and develop teachers to lead their students towards instructional excellence. My passion lies in creating a vision for my campus that includes the participation of teachers, parents, students and the community. My unique leadership style inspires others to take a part of the development of the campus climate and culture, this leads to the collective vison leading to positive change for all stakeholders.
I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, with a minor in Special Education, from Huston-Tillotson University. I earned my Master’s in Educational Administration from Prairie View A & M.
I am the proud mother of five. I am a product of Dallas ISD and an honored graduate of the great W. H. Adamson High School. I had the distinct pleasure of serving in many capacities in Dallas ISD which include serving, for five years, as associate principal of my Alma Mata. I taught elementary math and science for 12 years at Rosemont and Mark Twain Elementary. I served as an elementary principal at Tom Field for one year, and a middle school principal, at W. H. Atwell Middle School Academy, for seven years.
