Lauran Reyes is the head cheer coach over Varsity at Hillcrest HS and comes from an extensive background in cheer and dance. Prior to graduating from Sam Houston State University with a BA in Family and Consumer Science, she danced competitively starting at a young age across the metroplex winning numerous top soloist and team awards. Coach Reyes cheered from 6th grade- 12th grade were she was NCA Top All-American, Head Cheerleader in high school and competed in NCA Performance and Game-Day divisions. Coach Reyes has taught All Star cheer routines all across the country with Aaron Crouse Choreography and taught at Texas Galaxy Cheer & Dance in Mesquite. In college, Coach Bielstein was apart of the Orange Pride Dance Team competing at NDA Nationals in Daytona, FL along with being an Alpha Delta Pi member.
Coach Reyes prides herself in striving for excellence and tradition in everything she does. She has currently been teaching in Dallas ISD for 9 years growing the dance department at E.D. Walker Middle School, while directing the Blue Rhythm Dance Team.
Heather Lindemann is the Assistant Cheer Coach at Hillcrest HS. Coach Lindemann has 10 years of experience as an All-Star cheerleader up to Level 5 where she was an NCA All-Star champion. She also participated in school cheer from 7th to 12th grade in Argyle, Texas. Coach Lindemann was a 4 time All American Cheerleader and was Head Captain her senior year. Fun fact- Coach Lindemann participated in the first ever UIL State Spirit Championship where her team got 8th out of 150 schools. She has experience coaching and choreographing routines from the youth to high school level and always excelled at stunting, tumbling, and game day performance.
Coach Lindemann attended college at the University of Arkansas, where she was a member of Alpha Omicron Pi sorority and graduated with a degree in Economics and Political Science.
This will be her second year at Hillcrest High School teaching World Geography and AP Human Geography. She is so excited to work with Coach Reyes to grow the spirit program at Hillcrest and advance the skillsets of our amazing athletes.
Coach Reyes and Coach Lindemann are excited to build upon the cheer program and the legacy at Hillcrest High School. They want to inspire young athletes to be confident and respectful in their everyday lives on and off the field. Encouraging athletes to follow their dreams and believe in themselves to not only be successful in cheerleading, but successful in life.
