The video above explains how students need to be involved during lectures. When a student goes a long time just listening to a lesson, they will not learn as much as they should.
Then Ten Plus Two Rule states that after 10 minutes of lectures, take 2 minutes to involve the students. Have them write down questions they didn't understand, talk to classmates about the lesson, or small activities such as whiteboards or group conversations.
